Deathtrap is a sci-fi story I wrote. It's a reimagining of the classic Star Trek episode "The Ultimate Computer", in which a master control computer is installed on the Enterprise for a war games exercise. However, Deathtrap is not a Star Trek story, though it does pay homage to Star Trek, among other things - see if you can find references to Metroid, Portal, and Mega Man! (You might have trouble finding the Mega Man reference, though - it's rather subtle...) That said, why don't you go aheead and read the story? |
